Being loyal to studies but also to my Savior

Throughout this term, I have learned many things and presented them in class last week. Writing has complemented my life well, and I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to improve it during these weeks. However, my dad told me, "You must balance studies and spiritual things. If you increase one, don't forget to boost the other." It impacted my mind and my spirit. My studies will be great and beneficial, but I still need to honor my covenants. I will be blessed temporarily and spiritually.

Don't forget spiritual things!

Therefore, I want to share two things I can employ to stay faithful to my covenants throughout my career and life.

1. Keep doing the basic things. Little things make a huge difference in our lives. I should keep praying, reading the scriptures, and going to the Church or Temple so I can be fulfilled with the power and spiritual energy to keep going forward. A career will have its challenges, as will life, but the Lord will always be there if I strive to find Him and repent daily.

2. Keep looking for revelation. I should pray to feel the Holy Ghost and follow its promptings. There are many distractions and temptations worldwide, but I need to be strong, pray for help, and act according to what I feel, think, or read. There will be many assistance I won't be able to find in another place other than receiving God's help for my studies and life.

The Lord will always be for me if I do my part to succeed in whatever field of my life. I have seen how He has helped me in difficult situations during my assignments or when I had problems with people. Therefore, I know He will be there for you if you try to find Him.

He wants you and me to keep His covenants to succeed in life.

I invite you to pray and always have the Savior in mind and heart; your future problems will be easier to deal with. He will guide you if you balance your studies and celestial tasks.
