Respect your content

I have met many people and have usually had a good relationship with them. My parents taught me at home and in Church that we must respect others and try to forgive if they do something wrong and not criticize them, whether present or not. Therefore, our prophet Russell M. Nelson invites you and me to maintain these principles with others and show examples of our communication standards. Still, these principles also involve what we do, for example, the content we create. We should show respect in what we elaborate.

Our content needs to be an example for our audience.

Thus, I’ll give you two features we can apply to be more respectful and considerate of our blogs or articles.

1. Be honest with your audience. We write to people who may need our help, so we need to respect them and give them what they want to have: solutions. You and I are also servants of the Lord, so we can imagine being missionaries who try to help everyone. Also, we mustn’t criticize our readers, hinting if they are wrong or bad. We wouldn’t like to read articles that attack us and make us feel stressed.

2. Don't incentivize the animadversion to other people's sources in our content. We need to talk about ourselves or the topic we are trying to explain, but we must not persuade or invite people to not read or do what others do. We can disagree with others' opinions, but you and I need to be examples of Christ, focus on our objectives, and explain our things with normality and empathy.

It’s very easy to fall and criticize others through our content or even social media. Many people communicate with others very aggressively and even foster violence on X (Twitter as we know it) or Instagram against people who think differently than them.

Many people use X (Twitter) to attack others. Please don’t do it!

Therefore, consider Christlike attributes when creating blogs, articles, or posting something online. Thousands of people will see it, and your image and reputation will be very estimated if you talk respectfully and without anger. On the other hand, if you decide to hurt someone through your content, you already know how you will look to your audience. You won’t want that.
