Live the gospel by editing your life

The gospel brings me happiness and hope that I, as a child of God, can improve and learn from my mistakes. Also, I see how people are better humans when they keep the commandments and pray for help to overcome obstacles. They and I can eliminate some imperfections and be better servants of the Lord on Earth, no matter what we are doing or our situations. Thus, through the editing principles I learned this week, we can help ourselves be better people and better members of the Church. All is related to endure to the end.

Don’t give up!

So, how can we apply editing principles to be better humans each day and live the gospel? Let me give you two reasons:

1. Editing the original idea. We feel safe by ensuring the ideal is well stated in our content. So, you and I need to ensure our beliefs are clear and delete many things that can distract us from our core values. We must edit Satan’s temptations and be strong enough to resist what the world says.

2. Editing the details. If we can delete essential things that can put our attention outside the most important, we should be able to clean up the dirty information we face daily. If there are simple things (like words or phrases in our texts) that we should repent of, we need to do it. Our life will be better if we clean everything badly, no matter how insignificant it is.

There will always be a chance to improve our lives, like enhancing our writing content. I always find things to improve, thanks to the Lord's prophets in conferences or the scriptures. You and I can edit our lives more.

You can do it!

So, please “proofread” your life better and delete, change, or add what you consider to make your lifestyle more appealing. The gospel allows us to endure to the end, so we need to start to double-check our situation from now on.
